Coopers Commodities Company Limited (“COOPERS” or” 3C”) is a registered Nigerian Company specializing in the commerce of various agricultural commodities.

3C is a principal investment company of The Mellanby Trust Company Limited (“TMTC”), a Fund/Portfolio Manager regulated by the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC).

COOPERS is registered with the Nigerian Export Promotions Council (NEPC) and is thus licensed to trade for export in various Nigerian commodities.

COOPERS seeks to develop relationships with farming communities in order to assist in channeling investment, technology, training and farm inputs to these communities in order to increase the use of sustainable agronomic practices.

COOPERS believes that where the local communities have sustainable crop production, poverty will be reduced and cash-crop production would increase thus leading to better standards of living.

COOPERS have determined that creating a symbiotic system where the profit point of all participants in the agricultural value chain are economically contained, it would lead to improved production and ease of sale of cash crops thus creating jobs for the community, Local Government and State.

COOPERS through its CGI, works with Community leaders and existing Cooperatives to group farmers into various teams in order to receive Training, Farm inputs (Fertilizer, Seeds, Storage, Finance & Assured Markets). CGI aims to help improve the current output per hectare for cash crops.

To ensure that these opportunities are received directly by the Farmers in line with the objectives of our company and our stakeholders. In addition, we aim to strengthen the Cultural institutions that provide support to the communities we work in hence our strategy to work through them in our Farmer outreach.

We provide quality produce to our clients by performing our operations under a strict methodology of control and partnering with experienced Professionals in specific aspects of Agricultural inputs and storage.

COOPERS believes in the critical nature technology plays and will play in agriculture now and in the future and has provided a platform for channeling retail capital directly to farmers in a risk managed framework.
